Iran visa is one entry and the passenger can stay for 30 days in Iran. In case of agreement Police office of foreign aliens will be extended visa for a further 30 days, so you can stay in Iran for up to 60 days. Iran visa may be extended for a second time and stay in Iran for a period of 90 days. It should be noted that the extension of the visa would be more complicated for period of 90 days.

It is important to note that the final decision on the extension of the visa depend on Foreign National Police. It is best to start visa extension process within 1-3 days to the end of the visa expiration.
Iran visa is extendable in the major cities of Iran such as Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad and Tabriz’s Police office of foreign aliens. These offices are usually crowded, so it is best to make the visa extension process faster.
